At Champlin/Haupt, Sustainable (Green) Design is not just a buzz-term. We understand the profound effect building construction and habitation has on our planet. Many of our architects are actually educated as "environmental designers." Our staff includes sustainable (green) design specialists in both architecture and interior design, including LEED-accredited professionals (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) serving as design architects, specifications architects, and interior designers.

Most people think of sustainable design as funky and less than practical - windmills in meadows and straw bale walls. The reality is there are scores of pragmatic and effective solutions to common wasteful energy and resource practices. We feel it is our responsibility to present you with these options and guide you in your decision-making process.
