Many clients
know they need or want new space, more space, or redesigned space,
but only have a general notion what that space is to be used for.
Programming is the process whereby a comprehensive assessment of space
needs, functional interrelationships, and desires is identified, quantified
and qualified. We have extensive programming experience, from simple one-page synopses to multi-volume detailed manuals. Good programming starts with an architect who knows what questions to ask. Programming can quickly get an entire client team “on the same page” and establish consensus, minimizing revisions throughout the process. Programming easily leads to a preliminary budget and schedule. Budget problems can be identified early, and necessary adjustments to the building program can be made before expensive design work begins. |
