Power Plant Northern Kentucky University Highland Heights, Kentucky

Champlin/Haupt performed architectural and structural design for this two-story, 20,000 gsf power plant, which will serve the entire campus. The facility houses primary and secondary water pumps and electrical switchgear on the lower level; boilers, chillers, and control room on upper level. Due to its prominent site atop a steep hill, consideration of building form seamlessly integrates this potentially ungainly structure.
