An airy circular volume incorporating a 360-degree clerestory maximizes daylight in this inviting new lobby entrance. The Sisters of Mercy requested a cross and their mission statement be prominently integrated into the design of this catholic hospital. Rough travertine is dematerialized through a tall opening of textured glass veiling a luminous suspended sculpture, denoting the chapel beyond.
