A large new ED addition is prominently identified volumetrically by a shallow-curve metal roof, continuing a design theme from recent additions to this road-side façade of the hospital. This roof form generously protects the squad entry and allows for pleasantly-tall interior volume at the nursing station. A spectacular glazed steel drop-off canopy signals the public walk-in entry.
