On a challenging, tight, hillside site, this 80,000 sf physician office building and 125-car parking garage also incorporates hospital expansion and is directly connected to both the hospital and an existing parking garage. Zoning and building code requirements necessitated an unusually careful design process, as budget requirements demanded the garage be open structure and the building have non-fire-rated exterior walls.
