This new birthing center has 12 LDRP’s, a Stage II Nursery, 2 C-Section rooms, and a women’s triage suite. LDRP’s were designed to have a comfortable, cozy atmosphere, with headwall elements reduced. Room design allows staff to stock and clean rooms without disturbing the mother. Some of the LDRP’s feature deep tubs for water births and others have jacuzzis for laboring.
