Involving renovation of a historic elementary school and a classroom and gymnasium addition, design takes cues from the existing architecture. Adjacent to a park-like ravine - which limited expansion options - the site will now feature turnaround space for buses. A sunken landscape courtyard off the existing basement cafeteria can be used as an outdoor learning space.
