The Duke Energy Envision Center is a model and testing facility for smart grid and energy-efficient technologies. In the 15,000 sf Center, Champlin designed the front office/conference area and provided a shell demonstration space for the display designer. This converted office/warehouse is the first of its kind demonstration center and lab to show how technology will improve electric system reliability and efficiency, and give consumers greater control over their energy use.
