Designed for the State of Ohio and the Cincinnati Area OKI Regional Traffic Management System, this building is located within the I-71/75 median in downtown Cincinnati. The Advanced Regional Traffic Interactive Management & Information System Control Center provides incident, congestion, and freeway management for the Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky region.
Acoustical and vibration concerns necessitated extensive site monitoring and evaluations with special building structure and wall systems developed to ensure livability in office and control room spaces. The main computer center and control room contain access flooring to allow wiring flexibility between projection screens and workstation computers.
